Weapons & Items

Many different items exist in Sauerbraten. Some of these items exist to aid in keeping you alive and getting control of a map, and others are weapons. In efficiency, you will spawn with a fixed amount of health and armour, while in ffa you will have to pick up health, armour, and weapons to be able to engage effectively in fights.

All weapons spawn every 16 seconds in 1v1.

Usage

Use this for close to medium range fights.


Use this for close to medium range fights. Shoot at the feet for best results. Be careful about self damage.

Use this for medium to long range fights. The long reload time will make you vulnerable to returning fire

Spam this to prevent people from coming through doorways, or when opponents are in an enclosed space. Be careful about self-damage

Use this for short range fights to deal a devastating amount of damage, or as a surprise finisher on a wounded enemy.

This is your starting weapon, but can be a viable alternative for medium range fights when you lack a rifle.

Items

Quad Damage
Spawn: Every 70 seconds, first at 8:50
Duration: 20 seconds
Effect: Multiplies your damage dealt to others and yourself by 4!!

Health Boost
Spawn: Every 60 seconds, first at 9:00
Duration: Until death
Effect: The first health boost you pick up will increase your health by 100 points, up to a maximum of 150. The second and subseqeuent health boost you pick up without dying will increase your health by 100 points up to a maximum of 200.

Yellow Armour
Spawn: Every 30 seconds, first at 9:30
Effect: Yellow armour grants 200 armour, and armour will absorb 75% of damage dealt to you, while health absorbs 25% of damage dealt to you.

Green Armour:
Spawn: Every 20 seconds, first at 9:40
Effect: Green armour grants 200 armour, and armour will absorb 50% of damage dealt to you, while health will absorb 50% of damage dealt to you.

Health pickup:
Spawn: Every 20 seconds in 1v1, and they are available at start
Effect: Adds 25 health back to your health, up to your maximum health.
