SSL eCTF Tournament May – Update

If you like surprises, read on! If you don’t like them… – well, you already know what it’s about, so just do it anyway.

To followup on DK’s splendid iCTF tournament we will host an eCTF tournament.

Sunday, 31st May at 4pm UTC/5pm BST/6pm CEST

Maps are reissen, mercury, haste, nucleus and authentic shipwreck. (Please read the ruleset defined in the original blogpost before complaining about nucleus being unbalanced – there is a special rule concerning this matter.)

Although the tournament is not planned to be open for mix teams (unlike some of the previous ones), this time clans are allowed to sign up several teams, provided that each player is only part of one team at a time.

I might stream! Hopefully! Or I might not.

The same applies here: There might be another reminder! Or there might not. Therefore, better inform your fellows and calendar the event right now.

Also note that the list of banned players has increased again – at least at first sight. However, the chance that you in person are permitted to participate is still pretty high. To be sure, read the whole list.

Update 15/5/15: The organizer decided to slightly change the map pool. It now consists of reissen, mercury, haste, nucleus, shipwreck – in other words: authentic has been replaced with shipwreck. Unlike nucleus, shipwreck will not be split into two five minute games. Read more about the changes and reasons here.

Update 23/5/15: Instead of shipwreck, twinforts will be played. (source)

Fatality, we will start with an all vs all… so the current bracket means nothing. It’s just there to have an overview, which clans will participate!
