We have added a tutorial video on how to install and use custom content (skins, maps, etc.) with Sauer. No more explaining to someone through text, just send them here!
Check out the Tips & Tricks section, or watch the video below.

How did the people became so retarded that they can’t do anything without video tutorial?
:D haha
So when is there actually coming a guides section (or should that be combined?)
There is the “tips and modding” section. Unless you mean a specific spot for guides apart from tricks and game enhancements. I’m sure we could create that, but did you have some guides in mind? PM me if you are on IRC next
By the way;
Having it all visually like in a video is great, but be sure people are able to skip parts where they aren’t interested in while they don’t have to search all over the video what they are actually looking for.
The best is to keep short videos which explain just 1 specific tip or trick. Of there are additions to that topic, then also add that as a separate video or make sure there’s a clear start of it while the basics end.
For example of such specific tip or trick;
* Directory setup
– visual content (screenshots, demos, recorded vids)
– maps
– textures
– models
– skyboxes
– sounds
* Configuration setup
– autoexec
– scripts
– etc.
That way people just click on the tutorial with the information they want instead of wasting a lot of time watching stuff they already know.
Forgot to tell; all “-” are videos, while the “*’ is the actual tutorial.
Good advice, you are right. Maybe I can make some annotations or whatever with youtube to skip through the video. Thanks for the idea
… and have found a-monster and helped him to find the way out.
Great work FATALITY, thx.
No DEGRAVE, has nothing to to with “retarded”. To understand what is meant, a visualization is always better. Especially when you’re not so good in english and / or a technical nooob (like me, lol).
