Announcing the eCTF Stasis Breaker series.
The Sauer Stasis Breaker series (SSB) is another way of promoting competitive eCTF. Designed to bring more consistency with high-level competition. This series features three major eCTF tournaments per year held every four months, creating an ongoing competitive cycle rather than one-off events.
Why only 3 per year?
To give other modes (ffa, iCTF, …, duels) the opportunity to create their own tournaments without flooding the competitive scene. I’m also a strong believer that scarcity leads to more participants per tournament.
When tournaments become constant and disposable, prestige stops being prestigious.
