Or was it the inactive community that killed this kind of tournament? Can you even remember the last time an Effic CTF was hosted? It’s tough to organize anything that requires three players from the same clan in the current state of Sauerbraten. That’s why I’m launching the first Effic CTF 3vs3 Mix Team Cup — with a prize pool!

When: December 7, 18:00 CET
Pool: luna, stronghold, tubes, enigma, disruption, forge, twinforts
Format: Double Elimination (Winners & Losers brackets)
• Winners Bracket (BO3): Higher seed picks first, lower seed second, third map decided by veto (lower seed vetoes first).
• Losers Bracket (BO1): Map decided by veto (lower seed vetoes first).
• Grand Finals: BO5 (unless both teams agree to play BO3).

Top 33% → Group A 33–66% → Group B 66–100% → Group C
Each team will be composed of one player from Group A, B, and C — assigned randomly. Underperformance adjustments may be made for fairness after the initial seeding Players applying with new Discord accounts and or no history on SauerTracker will not be accepted. (don’t even consider an inactive account that’s not yours and underperform in the seeding – we will figure you out)
