SaueracleOS is a web tool that simulates an operating system entirely dedicated to Sauer, it allows you to create and explore Sauer-inspired files, including maps.
You may already be familiar with interfaces like chatgpt that allow you to interact with large language models. SaueracleOS is based on the same principle, but everything runs in a Sauerbraten context. You can discuss with a Sauer "community" using
Cubicle, for example:
You can delve into endless folders and files that mimic Sauerbraten content using
LoopFiles:
Everything is generated on the fly and you can create your own folders and files and see their contents appear.
... but the best use case of SaueracleOS is
Josias The Mapper, a .ogz file generator that tries its best to follow your text instructions:
And if for some reason Josias is not being detailed enough, you can open the .jsocta files generated by him and edit them manually.
Although somewhat incomplete, SaueracleOS is an old idea that is now a reality thanks to the availability of the WebSim generative API. I can't say how long it will be available, but while it is, I'm happy to be able to share it without going bankrupt for now :P

the WebSim team featured the first version of SaueracleOS and Sauerbraten on their profile.
