As I have stated before, I do web design for a living and I once used red eclipse/sauerbraten pages to test the facebook banner I was making for a company. The text shows up differently on mobile and desktop platforms. I forgot to delete the banners/boosted posts and left a bunch of edits on the page. I deleted them as soon as they were brought to my attention. I also use posts to test images for sizing and such. I have been managing and posting things to the Cube 2 page for years. I don't post advertisements on that page. I sometimes test ads before I make them live, I delete them in a matter of minutes. It doesn't mean i'm using cube 2 as an advertising platform. I am a web designer not a social media advertiser and manager. I am not getting paid to promote business, nor did I make any money by accidentally promoting the company I do web design for, Financial Sanity Now.' I have lead many clans for more than 10 years, worked on maps, server mods, websites, clients, and managed the facebook page. Never once have I posted unrelated content without the sheer intent of testing the content for another platform. Nice "detective work" but i'm not making any money testing an ad. I'm making money working and writing code, creating images and websites. It was easier for me to explain that the page was compromised by advertisers than to explain the entire scenario of how I used the page as a platform to test social media management work because it's a lot to type and I didn't feel like getting into it, I didn't think it would come to this. I left Cube a long time ago for the same reasons that a lot of others did, we put so much time into the community and never got anything in return except for contempt. As the game started dying, the entire community including all of my friends that used to play on a day to day basis disappeared. All the time I spent on the game helped me learn to write code, but I doubt anyone will use it because of the status of the game. It's sad that Cube died. I didn't leave because of some bullshit accusation about me, I could give less of a shit. I left because a lot of my friends left too. Also because:
Star is a arrogant narcissistic moron who unfortunately controls the forums and is too "high up" in the community to be punished for his assholism. and Salatiel, who went under a different alias and was actually my friend for a while and part of VA, our clan, falsely spread information about me defaming my character because of advertisements i posted on a cube 2 page to test boosted posts on mobile/desktop devices before they went live for a company I do web design for. I have managed that cube 2 facebook page for like 10 years, writing engaging posts and linking to community websites. I linked to sauerworld.org on it but of course that douchebag i was talking about star would never let my mod (which i have been working on for 10 years) be shown on the community forum website. Of course this is because of his own bi-polar feud with me and his own personal problems that he has with me. He randomly started talking shit to me on discord one day for no reason after i said nothing but nice things. I have pictures of the convo to prove it as well. I was just tired of not having any power in the community after making so many contributions. I had auth for a long while, but when server ownership was transferred, my auth was revoked. I feel like i have earned that privilege by now. But now it doesn't matter to me because I have quit like everyone else. I just thought i'd leave this post so that people that actually care to know what happened can see the truth.
