The very moment I came up with the idea of establishing the beloved Moments of Glory series in Sauer (with the help of pix ofc), I had a fairly clear vision of how videos should look like. However, it's been 1 1/2 years since then and I'm wondering if there are maybe other ways to approach "MoG'ing", maybe even fundamentally different ones.
Anyway, first I'd like to show you my initial ideas that should serve as basis for further discussions.
DO- use custom content to get more individual results that stand out
- aim for video length between 3 and 6 minutes
- use a custom client that allows for more customizations
- divide the video into an introduction with "lesser" scenes and the main part that shows the 3-5 best scenes.
- try to go for 720p60fps or higher;
60fps is a must!DONT- overedit the scenes; too many sfx and it'll only detract from the quality of the frags.
- make inappropriate amounts of self-promotion (you can mention your name ofc, just not for 5 minutes straight)
- only show 3rd person angles of good shots; 3rd person angles can be great for intro but by themselves they can never do justice to great shots.
Ok that's all I could think of for now.
Feel free to discuss these points, add your own or make completely different suggestions.
