My game crashes when I try to put a texture using the F2 command, I tested without ComEd and it works perfectly, when I installed ComEd again it is crashing again, anyone can help?
-
it works for me, what version of comed do you have and what operating system?

I have the same issue! And yeah, only with comed.
I never cared enough to report it since I don't edit maps.
Tried it on a clean comed to make sure - nothing changed.
I run sauer (32) from bin (not bin64)
Win7 x64
Radeon HD3870

Unfortunately, despite it's name 'Community' the community only brought hate instead of some community contributions. The client was revolutionair when it comes to gameplay inprovements, but it never made it further along the way, because the obvious reasons.
I'm sorry but you'll have to wait for the next update, if i ever find motivation to do one. So far, I can't recommend using comed for mapping purposes, as this isn't the only edit mode related error we know about.

Oh, another thing. As eihrul wisely decided to make a major opengl rework, instead of doin something usefull within the new edition, pisto (not suprisingly) decided to discontinue the work on the sdl2 port.
Thanks eihrul! now i can't use my laptop anymore to play sauer and i've to say good bye to the all beloved direct mouse input. YOU ARE THE BEST!

I use windows 8 pro 32 bits and the lastest comed version

i know what is causing this problem. well not exactly but i know how to reproduce the problem which is the first step in solving it! both of you galaxy and greenadiss are on 32bit. i just did a fresh install of comed with both the 32 and 64 bit builds and tested your issue on both. simply, the 64bit worked, and the 32bit crashed sauerbraten. so unfortunately if you can only use 32bit i think your hooped :( otherwise use 64bit and join the 21st century!

Thank you, Frosty! At least now I know how to avoid it in case I need to edit something!
But Galaxy uses 32 bit windows, soooo...

I will look into the issue.
