Hi everybody!

I ported cpm24 to Sauerbraten. A few changes have been made to make it more Sauer-friendly, but for the most part it's very similar to the original.

Not done but finished enough to show off at this point, this map contains as much style and editing flex as I could cram in.
It's playable, although that's subjective.

This was a very beautifully done remake, and gave it a totally different and richer atmosphere.

There are a couple spots that are very pretty, but quite bright if you're thinking about a competitive game on it - which, to be fair, isn't necessarily the highest consideration considering that metl3 is a very mediocre map compared to what we have to play ffa on now, but still could be considered. These are some of the spots I thought were a bit bright and could be toned down.


In case it's not clear, it's really just the teleport here that felt too bright.

Other than that, amazing job, I'd much rather play on this version than the default one.

You need to change the permissions on the link, it's not publicly viewable. From the screenshots, the reskin looks very refreshing though.

Hey Alxa, welcome

Two essential commands for controlling a demo are /gamespeed and /seekdemo, the first one lets you speed up and slow down time, the second one lets you skip to a specific time ahead.

gamespeed is very intuitive, but seekdemo can be confusing at first, for example /seekdemo 9:00 will jump to 1:00, and /seekdemo -9:00 (or /seekdemo 1:00) will jump to 9:00, both positive and negative numbers will skip forward, the only way to "rewind" is to reload the demo before the seekdemo (eg /demo demoname; seekdemo 5:00), but you don't have to worry about any of that if you use the Pseudo Demo Editor addon (https://github.com/SalatielSauer/Sauer-Demo-Editor/) :P
