 "Fountain of the Sacred Oath" by NoobGuy
Modes: Effic, Insta, FFA (team/duel)
Next replies will be screenshots from the map. It supports bots (who may kill themselves from being overworked).  :'(

I think this map is good for 2v2 effic/teamplay (not sure if the items are placed well). I like its colorful light, though the maim map textures look too simple and boring but bearable. The teleport is funny.

I like this idea with columns:

I'm not good at item placement, and I think this map will do well for effic over FFA. It's a little big for 1v1 so I agree with you on most points. As for the texturing... I'm not very good at making things "look" good. I just make sure they play good. Thank God for sauer's great light mapping haha  ::) ;D
Glad you liked the pillar jump, and yes the teleport is a little silly. i don't like not-having at least one teleport... and I like middles being the biggest zone for path options. I think I fulfilled that objective in this map, even if it's a little bland.

This is a nice layout, don't waste it!
The things you need to complete this map (Yes, it looks unfinished):

1.- Pick a texture pack.
2.- make details acording to the shapes of the textures you picked.
3.- Voilá, it's easier than you expected.

Things you have to consider after picking textures:

1.- Don't use grey textures.
2.- Try to use more than 3 colours (Lights, textures, skybox, etc).
3.- Try to exploit all the posibilities of the pack you picked.
4.- keep it simple, simple can be awesome too, but something simple is not just someting without details, it has parameters too.

Your map will start to take form in a blink of an eye.
