PK02 Texture Pack

This download contains Philip Klevestav's "PK02" texture pack, packaged for use in Sauerbraten. The textures are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License.

To use the textures in your map, add the following line to your map's cfg (preferably after using texturereset (http://sauerbraten.org/docs/editref.html#texturereset)):

This pack serves as a replacement for the one uploaded by Skur at Quadropolis (http://quadropolis.us/node/3163), which is inadequate because its heavy JPEG compression on normal maps creates visible artifacts on textures in-game. An example of this issue is shown below (I'll leave it up to you to guess which is which).

Because this pack loads textures in a different order (alphabetically) than the one uploaded by Skur (by shader), the file pk02-package-compatibility.cfg is provided as a convenience for mappers wishing to use this pack on maps that rely on the old loading order. If you need help migrating your map, contact me via the Sauerworld forums or Discord server.
